Instead, Rob Cross started fighting back.

🏆 2. Raymond van Barneveld vs Phil Taylor – 2007 World Championship Final
If you ask darts fans to name one of the greatest matches ever played…

He fought his way back into the match, eventually taking a 6–5 lead before Taylor levelled at 6–6.

Mervyn King led:
5–0.
Then 9–2.
And eventually 10–6.
One more leg would have won King the title.

Wade won five consecutive legs to somehow steal an 11–10 victory and the Masters trophy.
